The Product Journey of the Bed to Boardroom blouse
Materials: Yumeko deadstock TENCEL™
Portugal
The blouse is made from Cotton TENCEL™, a repurposed fabric originally intended for Yumeko bedding. This material is not only incredibly soft and smooth but also exceptionally strong and moisture-absorbent. Because it’s crafted from byproducts of the wood industry and uses 49% less CO2 and 71% less water compared to traditional cotton production, the fabric is remarkably sustainable.

Manufacturing
Ede, The Netherlands
The blouse was locally produced in the Netherlands by Fabriek Fris, a social garment atelier where experienced clothing makers work alongside trainees. Fabriek Fris focuses on developing new talent and coaching personal and work-related skills. The atelier provides people with a refugee background more than just a job—it fosters an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome to make a 'fresh' start.
We always produce in small batches of 50 items.
Ready to order
Amsterdam, The Netherlands
After the Bed to Boardroom blouse is ready and checked, we pick it up ourselves. Founders Froukje and Fleur check all clothing, organize a photoshoot, write descriptions and publish the blouse online. After you order the blouse, it gets another round of inspection and then gets neatly packed and sent out.
